New Faculty Life Club (NFLC)

Starting in Fall 2016, TLT began partnering with Academic Affairs to offer New Faculty Life Club meetings. These meetings are geared toward faculty members who are new to the College of Charleston or new to teaching. Our vision for New Faculty Life Clubs is to bring together faculty members from across campus for monthly opportunities for professional development and networking. Meeting topics rotate between a teaching/technology focus and a research focus every other month. Each month, attendees have the opportunity to give feedback, ask questions, and provide suggestions for upcoming topics. Through this model, we hope to provide well-rounded support to new faculty members with a tailored approach to professional development based on their unique needs.
